Well I just finished Pet Days 2014.  Despite the two snow weeks we had and rescheduling, there were 15 contestants this year.  We collected a lot of food for the Lenoir County SPCA shelter and the "Cutest Pet" contest will become active very soon.  I must say all the pets this year were wonderful!  I had 3 cats, 12 dogs and 3 children!  We had almost no accidents and everyone was very well behaved!  The SPCA shelter cat also participated! 

     Now each contestant will be entered into the "Cutest Pet" contest which will be held online at the Lenoir County SPCA website.  There will be a link to the contest on my website as well.  For $5 a vote, you can go in and vote for your favorite pet.  There will be a first, second and third place winner.  First place will receive a $100 gift certificate from Martha Peoples Photography, a $50 gift certificate for a small pet grooming at The Dog House of Kinston, and a $25 gift certificate from Pet Supplies Plus of Goldsobo.  Second place receives a $45 gift certificate for a free bath and brush from Pet Sense of Kinston and a free short exam and heart worm test from Lenoir County Animal Hospital.  Third place receives a $45 gift certificate for a free bath and brush from Pet Sense of Kinston and a $25 gift certificate from the Village Steakhouse and Pub of Goldsboro.  Last year we raised over $2000 for LCSPCA!

     So be sure to vote and help support our pets!  If you missed it this year, I will have Pet Days 2015 in January of 2015 and of course your pets are always welcome at Martha Peoples Photography!
